The Messy Tournament - Chapter 3: The trebuchet
Written by WLG — 2022 — from UMD.net
"Good afternoon ladies! First of all, I hoped you enjoyed your first challenge, now it is time for the second one. For this one, only one of you will participate, the other will only support and help her partner... Who will get all the mess!
We decided it would be fair to leave the girls you had the chance to enjoy the automatic pieing machine this morning... "
Rachel looked at me "Even if I wasn't aware of what happened in this other room, I suppose that's fair!"
Charles continued: "For the ones who will do the challenge, I will give you two things: your clothes and a collar you will have to wear."
"A collar?" asked Taylor
"Yes, don't worry, we will explain everything in a few minutes..."
The girls put on their uniform which was composed of a white t-shirt and trousers. Of course, the collar was also in place. I was supposing their white uniform would not stay immaculate for a long time.
We had a walk behind Stacy, Peter, Charles and Lilla for about 5 minutes when we arrived at our meeting point.
"Before we arrive at the challenge area, I will ask you to use these blindfolds to keep the surprise." We did the last hundred meters totally blind when Charles said.
"OK everyone, this challenge is called 'the trebuchet'. Raise your hand if you don't know what it is."
Some girls including me raised our hands.
"To simplify, let's say it's more or less... A catapult! Let me explain to you the challenge. The girl in white will be on the trebuchet, her partner will be able to aim an area for their partner to land... Don't worry we have planned a soft landing!
What you will have to do is to bring back as many beacons as possible which have been hidden. When you are over a beacon, your partner will receive a notification and will tell you that you can look after the beacon. The beacons and the collars are linked, that is the use of the collar.
Each of you will have two chances to bring back beacons, as soon as you will land, you will have three minutes to find beacons, and then it will be another team's turn. For the second round, you will only have one minute. I think you can remove your blindfolds."
It took a few seconds for our eyes to see what was in front of us. The first thing I saw was the trebuchet, there was a seat on it for our partners. Then I discovered the "soft land" Charles was talking about. In front of us was a gigantic mud lake. The mud was looking very different from the Mansion pig pen, this one seemed deeper, lighter and completely liquid.
"This is one of our mud areas at this Mansion, I hope you will like it! We have made a draw, the US team with Maria will start, then the Australian with Jane and finally the UK with Rachel. Maria, please take your seat."
Maria was not very confident and both Rachel and Melissa were observing her to know what will happen to her soon.
"Ladies, could you start a countdown, Maria?"
Taylor was behind the trebuchet, her hand on a lever. In her second hand was a receiver with switched-off lights.
"5...4...3...2...1"
At zero, Maria was ejected about 5 meters in the air. When she hit the surface, she immediately disappeared with a big splash. The surface of the lake became flat again until she reappeared fully covered by the liquid mud.
It was impossible to recognize her, her long dark hair was already covered by the messy liquid.
The receiver in Taylor's hand started to react, it was blinking more or less when Maria was moving.
Following Taylor's order, Maria was moved left or right. When all the lights of the receiver were blinking, Taylor screamed to Maria to tell her she was over one beacon.
Maria immediately submerged herself in the light brown pool. She resurfaced dripping with mud. Unfortunately for her, she didn't manage to get any beacon. One, two, three, four dunks later, she was still unable to find it.
"Time's up!" said Charles.
Maria slowly walked to the bank. Covered head to toe in the messy liquid, her clothes were fully saturated. Taylor came to her but stayed a good distance to avoid any messy hug.
At the same time, Jane was already on the trebuchet.
Charles gave the Australian team the go and we observed the cute Jane catapulted into her messy bath. Looking at young girls going from clean to messy in seconds was a great scene to see Even more when I knew I would avoid it myself but not Rachel!
Jane had a bit more chance than Maria, she managed to get two beacons. During this time Rachel came to me.
"We have to win this game! I don't fear being messy and I love messy baths."
"I've never tried submersion in a mud lake... You will tell me how it was!"
It was the end of Jane's time. The young brunette swam to the bank with the three beacons she had found.
Rachel was in place on the trebuchet.
"Ready Rachel?"
"Yes, I can't wait to sta..."
I didn't let her finish her sentence and activated the trebuchet. I observed my redhead rocket land in a messy explosion.
As soon as she resurfaced, my receiver reacted.
"You are over a beacon, dunk!"
She immediately disappeared under the surface. What reappeared first was her hand holding our first beacon.
"Perfect! Now move a bit, there is no beacon anymore there!"
She started to swim the crawl in the lake as if she was in a normal swimming pool. My receiver was telling me she was over another beacon. As soon she had the information, she immediately plunged into the mud once then a second time. Once again, she had found another beacon. She restarted swimming and the receiver activated another time. This time, it required three dunks.
"Time's up!"
Rachel joined me on the banks.
"Well done! You found three! How was it?"
"So great! You definitely have to try one day! So silent there and I love the pleasant sensation on my skin."
"Good news, you will have another appointment with the local spa!"
Maria was already coming back from the lake, the second run was indeed shorter.
Maria managed to find two beacons. She knew it would however not be enough.
Jane was catapulted again into the mud lake but, even after her multiple dunks, she was not able to find a single beacon.
"OK Rachel, you know what it means? You only have to find one to win."
Rachel was ready on the trebuchet, she was impatient to experiment the new ride. As soon Charles gave me the signal, I propelled Rachel into the lake. She resurfaced covered and ready to dunk to victory. Unfortunately, there was no beacon there. She swam in every direction but the receiver didn't detect anything.
20 seconds remained... And the lights turned on.
"You found one, dunk!"
Rachel immediately disappeared below the surface.
"5...4...3...2"
She resurfaced holding the beacon in her hand.
"Congratulations Rachel, join us here!"
Rachel swam in our direction not before plunging below the surface for the last few meters.
She reappeared soaked with mud, walking in our direction like a top model leaving a normal swimming pool.
"Congratulations ladies! Rachel, you managed to get four beacons, Jane you got three and finally, Melissa, you got only two.
Even if the results are obvious, we will give the final results from this game and the one from this morning a bit later today at the end-of-day ceremony. Don't be late this evening! "
