The Messy Mansion - Chapter 18: Michelle's challenge

Few hours after my recent victory, Lady Robinson came to me.

"Hi Emma, we will start Michelle's challenge soon, please go back in your room to prepare yourself!"

Back in my room, I discovered what I will need to wear for the next challenge. On my bed, a swimsuit was laying. I was really wondering what was the purpose of Michelle's challenge. The only details I had so far were the words of Michelle "buckets to catch and clay"...
I never have used clay before, I was really excited to try a new material but I had no idea what the buckets were there for... Anyway, I will discover it soon. I put the swimsuit on and went into the garden where the Lords and Ladies were waiting for me.
They were standing next to a structure which was hidden below a large tarpaulin.

"Hello Emma, ready for the next round? We will call the other Mansion in a minute. Stand there next to me!" Said Lord Robinson.
The same installation as the former challenge was installed outside for Lords and Ladies to see the other competitor challenge.

"Hello everyone! Welcome to the second challenge of our Mansion competition!
For this round, you will have to compete based on Michelle's idea. Please Michelle, give us more information about your challenge!"
"Hi Ladies! I may have not won the first match but, this time, you will have difficulties to win this one!
I will ask the organisator of each Mansion to show what was hidden below the tarpaulin."
In each Mansion, Lords, Ladies or however they were calling themselves there removed the large piece of tissue to show what was hidden below.
"A trampoline?" I said.
"You're right, frenchie! But there is more! You will see that over the trampoline are hanging buckets... lots of buckets!
Half of them are filled with water, the other half contains... other surprises!
The first part of the challenge is simple, you will have to catch the water buckets. When you have one, you will have to empty it in the water tank next to the trampoline. The first part of the challenge is to fill the tank up to the mark you will see on the side."
"And, what do we do if the bucket is not filled with water?" asked Dinna.
"Good question! In fact, you will have to alternate... The first one will need to be poured in your swimsuit, the second one on your head and then restart the process for each wrong bucket you will catch!"
"You talked about the first part, what is the next part of your challenge?"
"The second part will involve the clay I was talking about in the introduction of my challenge. You will see big bags of clay powder. You will have to mix the content of these bags with the water from the tank to create fresh clay. The aim then is to cover yourselves head to toe in clay. Be careful, not a single hair should remain clean. You will be authorized to keep your swimsuit though. I will ask each observer to be intransigent on the full coverage!"
"Don't worry, we will be sure you will be fully covered!" said Lady O'Neill while laughing.
"That is another great challenge Michelle! As you know, you will not be able to win points with this game except if you will use your joker. Emma, you also have a joker, you can use it for this challenge."
"No, thanks, I will keep it for my own challenge." I answered.
"Good, what about you Michelle?"
"I will use it on my challenge!"
"Good! Everybody knows the rules, Ladies please prepare yourselves."

This challenge was partly based on skills and chance. Over the trampoline, more or less thirty buckets were attached to small ropes. I thought that just catching the bucket while falling would cut the rope.

"Ladies, are you ready? Where are starting in 3...2...1... Go!"

I immediately rushed on the trampoline. I haven't done that since ages. However, jumping was the easy part, the most complicated part was to catch a bucket.
I did one or two jumps to evaluate the height and when I felt confident, I chose a bucket and caught it.

I was not able to see what was in the bucket but I discovered it soon. While landing on the trampoline, I lost my balance and swiped with the bucket. A part of the content flowed on my chest but, unfortunately, this one was filled with jam.
"You know the rule Emma, you have to empty it in your swimsuit!" said Lady Ledger.
Then, I emptied the jam in my swimsuit. It was really sticky but I didn't have a minute to lose in this game. When the bucket was empty, it was time for another bucket.
This time, I guessed it right and landed on both of my feet to prevent myself from falling. Even if some water splashed on me, most of the content was still in the bucket. I rushed next to the tank which was already filled with a good quantity of water. It would need about 8 or 10 full buckets to reach the mark.
Back on the trampoline, I managed to get another bucket but also hit another with my head. The bucket fell and landed on my head. The good point was it was not filled with a messy content, the bad one was I wasted one of the water buckets. I was also drenched thanks to this unplanned shower.
Hopefully, the bucket I managed to catch was also filled with water.

After emptying this new bucket in the tank my bad luck started...
The next bucket I managed to grab was full of flour. This one was emptied over my wet hair. Obviously, water and flour are not a great mix except if you want to create a messy dough. The next bucket was backed beans which I had to fill my swimsuit with.
Then, my bad luck continued for the next four buckets. I had the chance to be showered in chunky slime and custard when my swimsuit was filled with honey and more flour.
On the screen, I saw that Dina and Michelle were also well covered in various messes but Dina was bringing a bucket to her already well filled tank.

"Dina just finished the first part here, we will switch off the video to avoid spoiling the final result! Good luck girls!"

Juste before the video switched off, I had a look at Michelle's tank. Water level was more or less the same level as mine. I still had my chances.

I had no time to rest. I continue to bounce on the trampoline but, this time with another technique: I was trying to catch two buckets at the same time. Sometimes, I was lucky enough to get two water buckets, sometimes I had to fill my swimsuit and empty a bucket over my head... Anyway, I was going to be covered in clay anyway...

After several showers of mess, the last bucket of water was emptied in the tank. It was time for clay.
A small tap was at the bottom of the tank, so I decided to use the emptied buckets to mix water and clay together.
I added some handfuls of clay in each bucket and while one bucket was filled with water, I was mixing the content of another with my hands.

While my stock of clay was growing, I started to apply a layer of clay on me. I dipped both my feet in a bucket and started to smear it on my legs. I continued to cover myself.
"Your swimsuit also needs to be covered Emma!" said Lady Robinson.
Then, I started to cover my swimsuit too. While doing this, the messy content was overflowing by the leg holes and breast.
It was time for my breast, arms and neck, finally only my head was untouched by the clay.
I knowed I had to be as fast as possible to cover my head, then I decided to do some head dunks to win some time. I put a bucket full of creamy clay and immediately dunked my head inside. While being submerged, I turned the bucket back and forth to completely cover every inch of my head.
When I resurfaced, I was pretty covered but I heard Lord Robinson telling me.

"Good job Emma but you are not fully covered. You've heard Michelle, not a single clean hair should be seen and even if you gave a good coating on your head, we can still see your hair color... Then your job is not finished!"

He was right, my head dunkings gave me a good surface coating but most of my hair was still clean from clay even if it was messed up by several other things. I remember the heavy grease shampoo I had and the result was similar to what Michelle was expecting for the challenge. Then, I splashed several handfuls of clay on my head and started to give me a deep messy shampoo.
I also leaned to let my hair fall and give it another great cover from roots to tips.

"That time, you are completely covered! Great work Emma, we will stop the chrono. Come next to me to wait for the result."
I joined Lord Robinson and waited a few minutes for the results.

"Hi everyone, we see that each contestant managed to finish the challenge, that's great! We will not wait too long for the result or these young ladies will dry and turn into statues... It's time for the results!
We have a clear winner here, no suspens about who managed to finish first... Congratulations Dina! You were already ahead for the water tank and you kept this advantage until the end of the challenge. You will get two points!
Now, for the second and third position...
The girl who managed to finish the challenge in second position is... Michelle! Then it means Emma you were the last one.
Michelle, you were supposed to not win any point on your challenge but you used your joker and were second then it means you however have one point. Emma, you are after Michelle then it means no point for you.
Michelle, you had a very nice idea to empty the clay power in the tank and immerse yourself in it... This was the idea that gave you the second place!"
"This was my strategy to win, but I had bad luck with water buckets."
"Then, we have a very nice competition this year as each competitor has 2 points! It means that everyone could still win this game as Emma also has her joker. We've never experienced such tight competition!"
"Then, our challenge will decide everything. Just to remember, Emma decided that the challenge will be an obstacle course. This last challenge will not be done at the same time, each Mansion is free to do it after a break based on your time zone. We will call everybody back for tonight's council. Emma will use her joker for this challenge as it is the last one.
It means that the lady who wants to win the competition has to be first, there is no other possibility! Have a nice day or night depending on which part of the work you are and see you in a few hours!"

The videos stopped and I was surrounded by Lords and Ladies.

"That's bad luck you didn't manage to score any point on this challenge Emma! But you still have a chance to win the competition. We also receive punishments from other ladies... We would recommend you to not lose this challenge... Except if you enjoy being trashed in a very messy way!"
