The Messy Mansion - Chapter 16: The competition

After my messy experience with Lisa, I worked hard during the night to find ideas for the competition.

For the first time, I would be able to choose a challenge that somebody else will do but I will also have the opportunity, and that was my objective, to punish my competitors if I manage to win the game.
I needed to find a challenge where I had a good chance to win. I was sure the other ones would prepare their ones based on their abilities.

After an hour or two, everything was perfectly described in a letter. I also joined some drawings for the more "technical" parts. The material was available on each Mansion and, to be honest, I was wondering what was not available there! From the inflatable swimming pool to the automatic conveyors, the list was huge. I had absolutely no idea what the two other challenges would be.

I had a short night after that which ended when somebody knocked at the door:

"Emma! I know it's early in the morning but we have to start in an hour. You know, we have to deal with time zones...
I hope everything is ready for your challenge and punishment!"
"Hum... Ye... Yes..."
"Join us in one hour in our conference room, we have set everything for the visio conference. Is this letter about your challenge?"
"Yes, and the punishment is in a separated envelope, as asked."
"Perfect, see you in a few minutes!"

I woke up to prepare myself and had a look at the clock, we were really early in the morning. We surely had to adapt to today's schedule to fairly compete.

When I arrived a few minutes later in the conference room, everybody was ready and was sitting around a single chair in the middle of the room.

"I suppose I have to sit here?"
"You guessed it right! You will be our champion today! We trust in you Emma, we really hope you will win this competition!"

Lord Robinson was standing next to me when the two other big screens which were in front of us switched on.
On each screen, a similar view was projected. In the middle of 10 people, one girl was sitting. The competition was going to start!

"Hi Charles. Hi John!"
"Hi Mickael and Charles" answered Lord Robinson. I deduced that Lord Robinson first name was John.
"Hi my friends! Great to see you both and all our other friends around you! I hope you are ready for today's competition 'cause here we are in the US!"
"We are here too, and it's not because you've won the five last competitions that you will win this one again!"
"You're right Mike! And today, we have a very good chance to win! We have one of the best guests ever!..." said Lord Robison.
"... Let me introduce to you Emma!" He gave me a sign to stand up.
"Even if Emma is from France, she will be our champion for today. She succeeded in many challenges and brought more creativity than our usual guests. I think she will be a strong champion!"
"Ohh, a frenchie! Do they know what WAM is there? Here, in the US, we are the best Mansion in the world! Let me introduce you to Michelle!"
A young black hair girl stood up, she was about 25 years old. She had a very confident look at the camera and a little devil smile. She was well dressed in a magnificent red dress with assorted heels. Her hair was very long and was cascading on her nice curves up to her cheeks.
"You guys don't know what you are talking about and Dina will show you what a real champion is".
A cute blonde girl next door stood up and looked at the camera. She was a bit shy and we saw that she was not very comfortable to be seen on the big screen. She was looking my age and seemed shorter than Michelle and I.

"As you know, the draw we have done before gave us the order of the challenges. We will start in Australia with Dina, we will continue with Michelle's and we will conclude here in the UK with Emma's challenge. Ladies, it's time to give your competitor a short description of the challenge. Dina, please start!"
"Well... My... my... My challenge will be about puzzles. We will have to solve some puzzles before the other to win." She was clearly turning red when describing her challenge. The master of the Australian Mansion continued.
"Don't think because Dina is a bit shy she will not be a good competitor! We have seen her face messy dares that some would refuse! What about you Charles and Michelle?"
"My challenge will be about buckets to catch and clay. It's gonna be great even if there is no chance for you girls to win my challenge!", Michelle was clearly trying to impressionate us. I didn't know if she was exagerally comfortable or just...arrogant.
"Well, we will see Michelle, Emma, what about yours?"
"Mine will be a simple obstacle course."
"Great, I've always been first at school in sports!" Said Michelle.
"I can't wait to be the sixth winner in a row for the US and punish both of you with my messy punishment!"
"That will be for later Michelle, each of you have written their messy punishment that will be done in case you win. We have all your information for each challenge. We have forwarded you a schedule for each challenge. Each challenge will be done at the same time in each Mansion.
Here are the rules to decide how we will decide the winner.
The aim for each of you is to win your own challenge and of course other's one. For each challenge, if a competitor finishes the challenge before the one who organized it, she will win points: 2 if she is first, 1 if she is second. If the guest who organizes the challenge arrives first, the two others will have no point. You can't score on your own challenge but you can prevent the other to win points.
Each of you also has a joker. This joker gives you one point on any challenge, even yours, if you are not third.
Is everything OK for everybody? Of course, no cheating is allowed. In case one of you cheats on a game, she will be automatically disqualified from today's challenge!
You know each guest of a Mansion got her own videos for each day on an USB key at the end of the day. For today, the winner will also have the punishment of the two losers and, at the end of the punishment while covered in mess, a personal message from the losers to congratulate the winner, that will be her reward!"
"I love the idea of having more videos for my collection!" said Michelle
"Only if you win!" said Dina
"It seems there are already some sparks between the competitors! That's great!
All of you have their outfit ready for the first challenge in their room. Please, prepare yourself and see you back in an hour.
For all the other members of each Mansion, as usual, you know the rules: no intervention to help your champion. You will be able to see your champion during the challenge but also the two other ones thanks to the screens which have been set on each challenge place. I officially opened the Mansion competition!"
