Your save cannot be loaded

Error message: Your save is from an older version of the game and cannot be loaded.

To make your save work again:

• Load the save file in an archived version of the game:
  • Archived day 1 version
  • Archived day 2 version
  • Archived day 3 version
  • Archived day 4 version
• Continue playing the game until you reach end of a day.
• Save the game.
• Now return to the main version of the game and load your save.

Your save from an earlier version has issues

Error message: Your save came from an older version. It was upgraded but you may notice issues.

To make a clean save, but keep your decisions:

• Click (edit gamestate) at the bottom of the screen.
• Make a screenshot of the values you see.
• Refresh the page to return to the main menu.
• Select Start from scene, then select the scene you were currently reading.
• Click (edit gamestate).
• Fill in the values from the screenshot.
• Click Save changes

How to send your save file to Jouette

If you notice a save failure or script error, please send it to Jouette. If you can, Jouette would be happy to get your save file as well:

• Open the save menu.
• Click Export and download all save data.
• Open the downloaded file in a text editor.
• Go to controlc.com
• Copy/paste the content of the downloaded file into the big text box.
• Click Submit.
• Copy the created link and send it to Jouette (for example, darkmud.incursion@gmail.com.
